Chronic Disease Medication Support

The project aims to provide essential medications for patients with chronic diseases who require continuous treatment, by securing the necessary therapy to ensure the stability of their health condition and prevent interruptions in medication, thereby contributing to improved quality of life and sustained medical care.

Project Objectives :

  • Ensuring continuous access to essential medications without interruption.

  • Reducing health complications resulting from treatment shortages or delays in medication dispensing.

  • Supporting patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, kidney failure, and heart diseases.

  • Enhancing the quality of healthcare services in collaboration with healthcare sector partners.

Project Outputs :

Medications were provided to 951 patients across various medical specialties: 139 kidney patients received essential life-saving medications. 734 hypertension patients were protected from complications such as strokes and blood clots. 694 diabetes patients received insulin and accompanying medications on a regular basis. 172 neurology patients were supported with specialized, high-cost medications. 169 gastrointestinal patients achieved health stability through consistent treatment. 8 stroke patients received preventive and therapeutic care. The project contributed to improving patients’ overall health stability and ensuring uninterrupted access to treatment.
